First overnight sailing trip!

This was so fun! We still slept in the tent...so not fully sailing camping, but almost! It was awesome!

Great weekend reunion in Kenai!

We spent the weekend back in Alaska with wonderful friends! We had a great time fishing, eating, catching up, seeing a bear, moose and eagles, driving on the most beautiful road in Alaska, etc. We flew up to Anchorage and then drove down to Matt and Heather's with Steve and Jamie. Scott came down and met us too! A great time.

Looking back on July

It's been a good July...I think I learned that I'm not great at a Staycation and getting away at least for a little bit will be a good idea in the future! (Luckily we're going on short trips to Alaska and Lassen Nat'l Park in the next couple months so will still get the opportunity to get away!) It was a great month of welcoming Lydia, hanging out with family and friends, going on hikes and sailing. I also went to Maine for a week for Bowdoin Bound, which is always really fun and encouraging being with another program. A good month, all in all. A few highlights below (see previous post for photos of Lydia). Getting ready to wind up for the new year tomorrow!
