OK, I got a bit behind and didn't finish off the trip! oops! We finished up in DC which was wonderful. The cherry blossoms were starting to come out, although not yet at their peak. We walked around the mall, and visited many of the monuments as well as the Air and Space Museum and Natural History Museum. We also got to see Susannah again, who was working there for a couple days, as well as have lunch with our friend Dan from Alaska who now lives in DC and Jay's wonderful friends Bruce and Heidi along with their kids! I had never met Bruce and Heidi, who moved to the DC area around the time I met Jay, but I've heard so many stories and shared emails and Christmas cards for so long it feels like I've known them forever, too!
