I always love the Olympics, but these ones I've been looking forward to for 6 years! The Winter Olympics, with women's hockey, not far from home! (and, at that time, I was living in Fairbanks and still thought it was close to home)
I don't think I've planned this far ahead for anything. I started getting tickets a year ago. I didn't plan that far ahead for my wedding or any transatlantic trips!
I'm so excited it's been hard to sleep for a week already...but now, here we are! So excited. Photos and thoughts to come....!
Saturday at 5pm: Home team Canada vs Slovakia in the qualifying round. Then home to watch the rest of the games!
