Our good friends Mike and Susannah recently returned to the US after traveling the world for a year (read about their adventures at eurasianinvasion2007.blogspot.com). Mike came out to Seattle to pick up their stuff and move it back to the East Coast so we decided to take advantage of perfect weather to climb Mt Townsend in the Olympics (6280 feet). I could not recommend this hike more highly! It's beautiful, great trail, with incredibly views almost the entire way.
